Responsible Gen "X"

usual hangout places are big 'no" to some of the rare group of youngsters. they meet every weekend for a good cause.happened to meet such good hearted college goers for an article to my magazine.these young people are surprisingly responsible and truly committed to social work.small service organisations are run by Group of young people with the only purpose to help the needy.these dedicated youth are true icon who deserves to be emulated.

Heal;
"i have money,if i think of the people who dont have,i couldn't sleep" says kanchi kailasam,head of this service organisation.like kanchi, group of students from well to do family work sincerely in the weekend to help the needy.adopted more than 12 children and provide all the essential educational expenses out of their own pocket money.when asked about their future prospects.."this is not our passtime,we are going to seriously take up this social work once we finish our studies" says a final year law student.
Help to live;
this is also a non profitable organisation in which a group of software engineers donate a sum of money from their hefty monthly salaries to the NGOs in the city. they also conduct free welfare camps and even volunteer other NGO camps."we are happy that we spend our hard earned money for a good cause instead of wasting in pubs and discothes" says priyesh a software engineer working in a mnc..

young,enthusiastic,dedicated final year MBBS students of ramachandra medical college formed this service organisation.the main aim of this group is to serve for the betterment and upliftment of the social condition of ramavaram slum people. they adopted the entire slum and work hard to improve their state of well being .relief measures are well planned so that the background in which they live can be changed. conduct free medical camps with the help of the senior doctors and the fund for this purpose is raised from the college students."we strive hard to build self reliance in their minds.we are responsible for this" says niveditha a final year MBBS student. these medical students are beacon of hope for the people in ramavaram.
I fix;
instead of complaining like others some young teens stepped into rejuvenating chennai. members of "i fix" work day and night to clean the city. they work in midnight to cover the pitholes in major part of the city. currently working in the cleaning process of besant nagar beach." we want chennai as claen as singapore" says a vivekananda college student .students from various colleges in the city joined together and took up the resposibility..
